DLSS 3 and DESORDRE: A Puzzle Game Adventure

NVIDIA Reveals DLSS 3 and Exciting 2023 Game Enhancements

NVIDIA announced today that DLSS 3 (Frame Generation) will be available shortly in the highly awaited game Lost Soul Aside, developed by UltiZero Games. UltiZero Games and NVIDIA collaborated on a spectacular ChinaJoy 2023 trailer that proudly included the GeForce RTX logo.

While Lost Soul Aside fans eagerly await its release date, the good news is that the game will be accessible for both PC and PlayStation 5. However, it appears that the PlayStation 4 version has been dropped, leaving console and PC fans excited about the planned DLSS 3 integration.

But wait, there’s more! NVIDIA has also expressed interest in DESORDRE: A Puzzle Game Adventure, an indie adventure game developed by SHK Interactive. The game will be updated to Unreal Engine 5.2, which will include DLSS 3, NVIDIA RTX Direct Illumination (RTXDI), and Shader Execution Reordering (SER) ray tracing optimizations. According to NVIDIA, these improvements will result in a 3.6X speed boost at 4K resolution with all settings enabled.

DLSS 3, often known as “Frame Generation,” is designed exclusively for users of GeForce RTX 4000 series GPUs, promising a considerable increase in frame rates. Gamers may enjoy smoother gameplay with visually amazing graphics by leveraging the capabilities of the RTX 4000 series GPUs. NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.0 technology is destined to revolutionise gaming by delivering remarkable frame rate improvements and a more immersive DESORDRE encounter.

The incorporation of NVIDIA’s RTXDI (Direct Illumination) is a significant highlight of the DESORDRE version. This ground-breaking technology ensures that every light source in the game produces ray-traced shadows, giving the game’s aesthetics a new level of depth and realism. The precise representation of lighting and shadows enhances the gaming experience, making it more immersive than ever. In every part of the game environment, players will notice improved contrasts, evident depth, and an engaging experience.

Even with the addition of ray-tracing effects, players should not be concerned about performance. DESORDRE retains incredibly high frame rates thanks to DLSS 3, providing seamless gameplay even with the addition of detailed shadows and lighting effects.

But that isn’t the end of the exciting news! DESORDRE now includes NVIDIA’s Shader Execution Reordering (SER) for those courageous enough to push their systems to the brink with the “Let My PC Burn” preset. This feature provides a substantial performance gain in rendering reflections, rewarding gamers who want high-quality graphics without sacrificing speed.

DLSS 3 also adds support for Remnant II, giving gamers even more ways to reap the benefits of this cutting-edge technology.

In addition to the DLSS 3 upgrades, NVIDIA gave some insight on DLSS 2 games. For example, Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released soon with DLSS 2, which will provide an incredible 93% average performance gain for GeForce RTX 40 GPUs. On RTX 4060Ti and higher graphics cards, this enables seamless 4K gameplay at 60+ fps per second.

Furthermore, GeForce NOW members on the Priority and Ultimate levels can benefit from DLSS 2 and DLAA support in the game. Those who use the highest tier, which is powered by RTX 4080-class technology, can even enjoy 4K gaming at 120FPS through the cloud on devices that are compatible.

The exciting voyage does not end there; DLSS 2 is also supported in the recently released indie game Grand Emprise: Time Travel Survival, providing fans with yet another compelling gaming experience.

NVIDIA continues to raise the bar in gaming technology with these innovative innovations, offering smoother gameplay, amazing visuals, and an unrivalled gaming experience for all. Whether you like Lost Soul Aside, DESORDRE, Baldur’s Gate 3, or Grand Emprise, these enhancements will make 2023 an exciting year for gamers all over the world. So saddle up, gamers, because NVIDIA is about to take us on a wild journey!
