Intel’s New Arc A570M and A530M Mobility GPUs: Alchemist ACM-G12 Architecture Revealed!
Exciting news for gaming enthusiasts and laptop users, as Intel secretly introduces two new Arc A-Series GPUs, the Arc A570M and A530M. These cutting-edge GPUs, which are based on the Alchemist ACM-G12 chip, promise to improve mobile gaming experiences and performance.
Arc A570M: Power and Performance in One
The previously disclosed details regarding the Arc A570M had us excited for its actual release, but Intel made little noise about this understated product. Nonetheless, the specs they presented show an intriguing possibility. The Arc A570M has a remarkable 16 Xe-Core processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz. The GPU has a little higher 75W-95W TDP than its close competitor, the Arc A550M. Although the business has not revealed exact performance data, it is assumed that the A570M would deliver a minor performance boost due to its better clock speeds.
Arc A530M: An Affordable Marvel
In addition to the A570M, Intel has introduced a low-end Arc A-Series derivative, the Arc A530M. Despite its lower ranking, this GPU is nothing short of outstanding. The ACM-G12 Die: A Common Foundation
The excellent Bionic_Squash dug deeper into the technical details and discovered that both the Arc A570M and A530M are based on the Alchemist ACM-G12 GPU die. The same die was recently used in the well-received Arc Pro A60 graphics card. The MESA driver validated Intel’s labelling of the Arc A570M as “5697” and the Arc A530M as “5696,” confirming the use of the “G12” die. Surprisingly, the presence of unallocated Device IDs suggests the development of multiple alternative SKUs, piqueing interest in future releases.
Early Birds Already Flying!
Though Intel has officially scheduled the release of these GPUs for Q3 2023, the availability of their individual drivers online shows that they are already in the hands of laptop manufacturers. For example, the Arc A570M has already been integrated into a laptop from the well-known Japanese manufacturer LAVIE.
